As an award-winning business journalist, I focused my creativity on some of the most successful CEOs and entrepreneurs in technology. I have written for Forbes, BusinessWeek, and TIME magazine.

My range is wide. I have written about software business models, innovative charter schools, women in prison, and, one of my favorites, a rug dealer in Palo Alto who became a highly successful venture capitalist. Now, I am turning my attention more inward — sharing my life experiences in personal essays and memoir.

I explore the nuanced, complex emotions around loss, the very human desire for control, motherhood, identity, and family secrets. Great teachers have inspired me; I have studied with Dani Shapiro, Rick Russo, Hannah Tinti, and Katie Bannon.
